EOS Power Extension Box (Power Switching Unit for Sauna Control Units)

The EOS Power Extension Box is designed to increase the switching capacity in conjunction with EmoTec D and Touch 3 controls to operate several sauna heaters at once.
This power extension box is only needed when running a multi-heater setup, the EOS Power Extension Box (PEB) provides the additional relay capacity required to power each heater beyond the primary unit. The PEB1 has 1 relay, PEB2 has 2 relays, PEB3 has 3 relays, PEB4 has 4 relays, and PEB5 has 4 relays plus an additional Power Box separate from the relay board itself.
If a sauna configuration requires more than 6 relays total, you will need your primary power unit, a PEB5, and an additional Power Extension Box to reach the necessary relay count. The maximum possible configuration is 12 relay boards total. This setup would include your primary power unit (2 relays), plus a PEB5 (4 relays), plus a PEB4 (4 relays), plus a PEB2 (2 relays).
Power Extension Boxes are only compatible with the multi-heater Power Box. If you currently have a single-heater and are upgrading to a multi-heater setup, you'll need to upgrade your Power Box to the multi-heater-compatible version before adding a PEB.

PEB Models and Relay Capacity
PEB1 has 1 relay. PEB2 has 2 relays. PEB3 has 3 relays. PEB4 has 4 relays. PEB5 has 4 relays plus an additional power block. This connection is separate from the relay board itself. It allows you to link an additional power extension box for setups that need more than 6 relays.
Each relay supports up to 4.5 kW at 240V/1Ph or 9 kW at 208V/3Ph. Use this to confirm your PEB has enough relay capacity to cover your setup’s total kW draw.
Important Compatibility Note
PEBs are only compatible with the newer version of the power unit. If you currently have a single-heater power unit and are upgrading to a multi-heater setup, you'll need to upgrade your power unit to the multi-heater-compatible version before adding a PEB.
