The Leil® Celto S Outdoor Sauna Kit is a compact 2-person sauna designed for smaller outdoor spaces. Generous bronze tempered glass surfaces create an open, light-filled interior, while substantial 60mm CLT panel construction and two-level Aspen seating provide a comfortable sauna experience within a space-efficient footprint.

Handcrafted in Estonia and designed for straightforward on-site assembly, the Celto S can be assembled in approximately 4–6 hours.

Note: Heater package and LED lighting are sold separately. Electrical installation must be performed by a licensed electrician.

What type of wood do you use in manufacturing, and why is thermally treated wood good?

Leil® Saunas uses Lunawood ThermoWood® (thermally modified pine) for the sauna exterior, while benches are made from aspen and alder. Thermally treated wood is ideal for saunas as it’s resistant to water and humidity, doesn’t swell or shrink, won’t warp or twist like untreated wood, and doesn’t leak resin.

Are your products suitable for year-round use?

Yes, Leil® saunas can be used year-round, enduring cold winters and hot summers. We use 40mm or 70mm thick thermally treated wood, roofing with shingles or EPDM rubber to ensure moisture resistance. We also recommend applying an external UV-protective varnish treatment which ensures long-lasting durability.

Does the standard sauna kit include a heater?

A standard kit includes the sauna only. Optional LED lighting and a heater packages are available as add-ons.

Are your products certified and compliant with European standards?

Yes, all materials are certified and compliant with EU standards.

Are sauna components painted at the factory?

DIY (self-assembly) sauna components are partially factory-painted, requiring final finishing during installation. Fully assembled saunas are factory-painted and finished.

Assembly & Maintenance

Does the product come with an instruction manual, or can it be downloaded?

All products come with a physical instruction manual. Manuals can also be downloaded from our website.

On what surface can the sauna be installed?

The sauna must be installed on stable and level ground that doesn’t settle. This means the ground must be prepared, either with driven piles or a concrete foundation.

Can I assemble the sauna myself (instructions, fasteners, required tools)?

Yes, self-assembly is possible. However, we recommend using trained specialists who have the required knowledge and tools.

Why and how should I maintain the sauna?

We recommend treating the sauna annually with proper products: externally with a UV- and moisture-resistant varnish to maintain long-term durability, and benches with special sauna oil or wax.

How is drainage handled?

Leil® saunas have drainage systems with built-in floor drains. The floors are slightly inclined to direct water toward the drain.

How often should maintenance be performed?

At least annually, depending on frequency of use.

Does thermally treated wood require maintenance?

Yes, thermally treated wood also requires annual treatment.

How can I extend the lifespan of my sauna?

Regular annual maintenance, treating both the interior and exterior surfaces, significantly extends sauna lifespan.
